In Canada, the 2024 Volkswagen ID.4 is eligible for a $5,000 rebate through the Incentives for Zero-Emission Vehicles (iZEV) program. Since 2019, the program has been geared to helping make electric vehicles more affordable for Canadians. This is a point-of-sale incentive for vehicles purchased or leased for at least 12 months, meaning the ID.4 will be discounted by $5,000 when you make the purchase, and the dealership itself is reimbursed by the rebate. Note that individual Canadians are eligible for the incentive once per calendar year, in case you’re looking for a second vehicle.
