Here are Three Reasons why the 2022 Volkswagen Jetta is a Great Choice for You

2022 Volkswagen Jetta

If you are in the market for a new compact sedan, the 2022 Volkswagen Jetta is a great choice for you due to its newly redesigned appearance, its driving dynamics and its impressive fuel economy.

A new style for 2022

The 2022 Volkswagen Jetta has received a number of changes for the 2022 model year, most notably a refreshed exterior appearance that gives it a modern and distinctive look. The new Jetta shows a new grille and modified LED headlamps up front, with a new bumper and new LED taillamps in the rear, while the side profile stays very similar in order to retain the Jetta’s recognisable appearance. Inside, the Digital Cockpit becomes standard on every model, which makes the interior more modern and more informative.

The GLI

The 2022 Volkswagen Jetta is a dynamic compact sedan that features the only turbocharged standard engine in its class, but for drivers who want even more performance, the Jetta GLI is also renewed for 2022. Along with its new style, the Jetta GLI improves its driving dynamics by adding a new XDS Cross Differential system which acts as a mechanical limited slip differential by applying the brakes to one of the wheels in order to send power to the drive wheel with the best traction. The GLI is also equipped with the DCC adaptive damping system, which provides better handling or an increased level of comfort depending on the drive mode.

An improved fuel efficiency

Despite having more power than before, the 2022 Volkswagen Jetta is more fuel efficient than ever, in large part due to its new 1.5L turbocharged standard engine. This new unit is more powerful than the outgoing 1.4L, but it is also more fuel efficient since it is capable of achieving consumption figures as low as 7.7L / 100km in the city and 5.7L / 100km on the highway. Even the GLI, which keeps the same 2.0L turbocharged engine manages to improve its consumption figures down to 9.0L / 100km in the city and 6.5L / 100 km on the highway.
