The 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan priced at $32,995 with standard 4Motion AWD

The all-new 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan has a starting price of $32,995, Volkswagen Canada announced today. It features standard all-wheel drive, the most powerful standard engine in its segment, and a long list of standard features.

There will be four versions of the 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan offered:

Trendline – $32,995
Comfortline – $36,795
Comfortline R-Line Black Edition – $39,495
Highline R-Line – $42,995

Every model comes with standard 4Motion all-wheel drive and a powerful turbocharged four-cylinder with 184 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque. The front seats and steering wheel are heated, and every Tiguan gets the Digital Cockpit digital instrument cluster.

A range of standard safety technologies are also offered including Forward Collision Warning with Autonomous Emergency Braking and Pedestrian Monitoring, Active Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Traffic Alert, Lane Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Emergency Assist. Other features found across the lineup include dual-zone climate, leather seats, power driver seat, power tailgate, rain-sensing wipers, 15-colour ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, heated outer rear seats, ventilated front seats and 360-degree overhead camera.

The Comfortline and Highline models are offered as R-Line trims with 19-inch wheels in the first and 20-inch wheels in the latter. R-Line models also get special bumpers, side sills, black roof rails, and special chrome elements outside.
